“You are my Sunshine.”

One group sings:

• You are my sunshine
• My only sunshine
• You make me happy
• When skys are grey
• You’ll never know dear
• How much I love you
• Please don’t take my sunshine away

Then the other group sings:

• You are my ever-lasting baby
• You are my everything
• You make me oh so very happy
• When skys are gray and by the way
• You’ll never know how much I love you
• How much I miss you when you are gone
• So please don’t take, don’t take
• My sunshine away

Then the two groups sing their parts at the same time.

"The Pony Game"

The game is set up in two circles and the words are:

• First Part
  • Ride-a-Ride-a-Ride that pony
  • Get up and ride that big fat pony
  • Ride-a-ride-a ride that pony
  • This is what she told me
• Second Part
  • Front to front to front my baby
  • Side to side to side my baby
  • Back to back to back my baby
  • This is what she told me

Each group goes to the right for the first four lines and then whoever they are in front of is their new partner. On the second part, each set of partners dance together.

Riverside Resting by Katie D

On the riverside I sit near the trees
Rustling far and near from the breeze
The running water calms us here
As we come to overcome our fear
The sound of the bird’s sing
Plays Music with the river’s ringing
Close my eyes and the music I feel
As all the fears just begin to heal
Riverside resting calms the mind
Nature’s music is easy to find
The scenery is all new to me
Mountains and rivers and desert to see
Under the stars we sleep
Making memories forever to keep
