We Are All Different

Program is for Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts
Deadline is February 8, 2008

All Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts are invited to this interactive workshop designed to develop an understanding of different types of disabilities. Activities include learning the American Sign Language alphabet, learning about the various careers that assist people with special needs, participating in supervised activities that restrict the use of various limbs and senses to simulate a disability and more. The goal of this workshop is to assist girls in developing a solid understanding of what life is like for those with disabilities.
