Paperwork

• Have your parents or guardian fill out the appropriate paperwork. You must be a registered Girl Scout and a parent or guardian must sign a Girl Scout Cookie Permission form, BEFORE you sell Girl Scout Cookies.

• New this year is the Little Brownies Cookies (an explosion of chocolate flavor, diabetic friendly). Other available varieties include Thin Mints, Do-Si-Dos, Samoas, Tagalongs, All Abouts, Cafe' Cookies, and Trefoils. Visit the Cookie page for more information.

• Girl Scouts of the Calumet Council sells Girl Scout Cookies for $3.00 per box.

Sale Dates and Delivery

• Girl Scouts of the Calumet Council's Cookie Sale starts September 29 and you continue to take orders until October 12, for initial orders.

Special Hi STEPPER Card - Cookie Order Taking Oct. 13- Nov 3
		Are you a Cookie Hi-STEPPER? Girl Scouts who Step It Up by selling at least 35 boxes of cookies from October 13 to November 3 will receive a “HI-STEPPER” Pin. In order for your to receive the “Hi-STEPPER” Pin, Hi-STEPPER Cards MUST be presented to the Girl Scouts of the Calumet Council Service Center by the end of business on Friday, November 3, 2006.

Selling Possibilities

Girl Scouts of the Calumet Council offers Girl Scouts and their Troops many options for selling Girl Scout Cookies in 2006.

• Initial Order taking - September 29 - October 12
• Hi-STEPPER Orders - October 13 - November 3
• Door Hanger Orders - September 29 - November 3
• A Gift of Cookies - November 6 - December 8
• Booth Sales at local businesses - October 28 - November 19

The Customer

• Sell to family, friends, neighbors, teachers, bus drivers, doctors, dentist, and orthodontists, and more.

SELLING AT A PARENT’S WORKPLACE

• Do not take orders before September 29.
• Ideally, you should bring in your order card. If this is not possible, you should attach a note to the order card. A thank you note should accompany the cookie delivery.
• IMPORTANT NOTE: Federal law prohibits the sending of unsolicited advertising faxes. Permission must be granted first from the recipient prior to sending a fax for the purpose of selling.
• Internet Sales are prohibited! You may email family and friends to let them know that you are selling Girl Scout Cookies and share you goals with them.

Your Uniform

• Whenever possible you should wear your vest or sash. If not, then be sure to wear your Girl Scout Pins.

Don’t Forget that delivery and collecting the money is just as important as selling the Girl Scout Cookies.
